Dr. Cai is the executive director of the Center for Korean Studies and an associate professor of international relations at Fudan University. He is also a member director of the Association of Korean History, the Association of Sino-Foreign relations, and the executive editor-in-chief of the collected papers on Korean Studies. Dr. Cai has published 5 books and more than 20 papers in domestic and international scholarly journals. His recent publications include, “The Policy of the United States to the First Korean Nuclear Crisis,” “China’s Limited Role in the Korean Nuclear Crisis,” and “DPRK nuclear Crisis and the Changing Sino-DPRK Relationship”. He received his B.A. from Suzhou University and M.A. from Nanjing University, and his Ph.D. from Fudan University.
