Dr. Han is Vice President of the Korea National Defense University, where he is also a Professor of Military Strategy. He recently served as an Advisory Member for the ROK Preparation Committee for the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit and as an Advisory Member for the ROK-China Experts Research Committee. He has been a staff member of the Center for Nonproliferation Studies in the Monterey Institute for International Affairs, as well as a Visiting Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research and at the RAND Corporation. He has also been a consultant for the Korean National Security Council, as well as Director of the Research Institute for National Security Affairs at KNDU. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from Seoul National University, a Masters in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the RAND Graduate School.
