Dr. Lee is Professor of international relations at the Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University. He is also the Dean of the Division of International Education and Exchange at Yonsei. He has lectured throughout the United States and Japan and remains an advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Security Council. He received his B.A. in international relations and history from Tufts University, MALD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and Ph.D. in modern diplomatic history from the University of Oxford. He specializes in North Korean nuclear history, U.S. foreign policy, South Korean politics, and East Asian security relations.
