Professor Lee is a professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and director of the Center for Nuclear Policy at Seoul National University. Previously, he was a member of Presidential Council for Science and Technology, dean of Research Affairs at Seoul National University, and was a committee member of the Nuclear Safety Commission. He also served as a member of the Nuclear Safety Advisory Group at KEDO and was a president of Korean Nuclear Society. He received a B.S. from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Maryland.
