Mr. LI Hong is the vice president and secretary-general of the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association. Previously, he was the deputy representative of China to the OPCW in Hague. He has worked in the Permanent Mission of China for International Organizations in Vienna and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, and was an instructor and senior researcher in the universities and institutes in Xi’an and Beijing. His research areas include nuclear disarmament, nonproliferation, Missile Defense and international security. He had a technical back ground in Control Engineering. He graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University.
