Mr. Krueger is the Managing Editor of the foreign desk section of Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Germany’s largest broadsheet daily. He has been covering international security and arms control issues for the paper since 2007, when he became a staff member. In 2007, he was also part of the Arthur-F. Burns fellowship program and worked with the Chicago Tribune. He has specialized in the proliferation of unconventional weapons and delivery systems and reported extensively on the nuclear and missile programs of Iran, North Korea, Pakistan and India as well as on illicit trade. Additionally, he covers international diplomatic events, the International Atomic Energy Agency, NATO, international terrorism and intelligence matters. He holds a diploma in journalism from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and he attended the Deutsche Journalistenschule in Munich, Germany’s most renowned school of journalism.
