Prof. Seo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Kyung Hee University. He teaches courses in American Politics, U.S. Foreign Policy, and Party Politics. Prior to joining Kyung Hee University, Prof. Seo taught at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (2007–2012). His research interests include the domestic politics of U.S. foreign policy making and U.S. policy toward East Asia. Prof. Seo has published articles in Political Science Quarterly, American Politics Research, Party Politics, and many others. His recent publications are The China Card: Playing Politics with Sino-American Relations (Political Science Quarterly, 2012) and Moderate Caucuses in a Polarized US Congress (Journal of Legislative Studies, 2012). He received a B.A. in Political Science from Seoul National University, an M.A. in Government and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
