Ms. Trinh is the director of the Department of Professional Training in the Foreign Service Training Center in the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vietnam. Her research focuses on international security, international politics and American studies, particularly American foreign policy. She is the co-author of Glossary of Diplomacy (2001); co-author of Religion in International Politics (2012). She is also writing two books on Vietnamese Foreign Policy for junior diplomats and people working in local Foreign Service sector. She received a B.A. and M.A. from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, an M.A. from the University of Washington, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
