The Asan Institute for Policy Studies held the 28th Asan Dosirak Serieswith Experts with Mr. L. Gordon Flake, Executive Director of The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation.
In a presentation titled “Post-election Prospects for Korea-US-Japan relations in 2013,” Mr. Flake discussed prospects for the continued US “rebalancing” in the region, potential tensions between South Korea and Japan, and the process of continued policy coordination on regional issues such as the recent leadership changes in China and the many challenges posed by North Korea.
