Mr. Robinson is a research leader at RAND Europe. He works in areas such as European and national cyber-security policy, cyber defence, and information sharing and co-operation for cyber-security. He is currently leading research for the European Network and Information Security Agency into practices in national level risk assessment for cyber security. He is also working on a project developing cyber defence capabilities in the context of EU-led military operations. In 2012, Mr. Robinson led a study for the European Commission into the feasibility of a European Cybercrime Centre (ECC), which informed the Commission’s decision to establish the ECC. Mr. Robinson has also undertaken research into cloud computing and cyber-insurance. In addition, he has advised the UK Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance, the French Interagency Joint Defence Doctrine Centre, and the Swedish Centre for Asymmetric Threat Studies. He studied at King’s College, and London and City universities.
