Mr. Snyder is a senior fellow for Korea Studies and the director of the Program on U.S.-Korea Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations. He is the editor of “Global Korea: South Korea`s Contributions to International Security” and “The U.S.-South Korea Alliance.” He previously worked at The Asia Foundation between 2000 and 2011, where he served as representative in Seoul and directed the foundation’s Center for U.S.-Korea Policy. He has also worked for the U.S. Institute of Peace and The Asia Society. Mr. Snyder received a B.A. from Rice University and a M.A. in East Asian Regional Studies from Harvard University.
