Jeong Ik Lee

Dr. Lee was educated at Seoul National University, and graduated summa cum laude from the Department of Nuclear Engineering. He completed his master and Ph.D. degrees, in Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT. He was then hired by FNC Co., Ltd. as a research scientist to participate in various Korean nuclear industry related projects. In August 2010 and he moved to the UAE to join Khalifa University as a joint-professor in the Nuclear Engineering program. His research interests are current light water reactor technology and the next generation nuclear system. He is an expert on nuclear system analysis and thermal-hydraulics engineering.
