Jane Perlez

Ms. Perlez is the Chief Diplomatic Correspondent for the New York Times in Beijing. She covers China and its relations with Asia and the United States. She has served as a Foreign Correspondent for the New York Times since 1988 in East Africa, Central Europe, Southeast Asia, Pakistan, and now China. Ms. Perlez shared the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for international reporting for her work in Pakistan.
