Javier Serrat

Scoville Fellow, Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS), Monterey Institute

Javier Serrat is a Scoville Fellow with CNS, where he works on the regional impact of developments in Iran’s nuclear policy and program, assessing current issues pertaining to the IAEA, with a special look at the strengthened safeguards regime, and countering proliferation finance. He graduated from Boston University in 2009, with a bachelor’s in international relations and musicology and a minor in Russian and eastern european studies. Previously, he worked in the Legal Advice Section of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva, Switzerland, and the IAEA Section of the U.S. Mission in Vienna.
