Hawon LEE is a editor of the TV CHOSUN which is an affiliate of the CHOSUNILBO which prints 2 million issues a day. As the chief correspondent of the CHOSUN ILBO, he covered South Korea’s opposition party GNP’s leaders Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye who became the presidents of South Korea later. For almost 4 years, he worked asthe Washington D.C. Bureau Chief of the CHOSUNILBO to cover the White House, State Department, Defense Department. He was a Korean Delegate of the 2006 Korea-China-Japan Future Leader’s Forum. He organized 5th Asian Leadership Conference as the primary director. He is a graduate of Korea University (BA) and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government (MA). As a research fellow of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University, he focused the relations between the US and Two Koreas. He is the author of “Entangled Trilateral Relations Among South Korea, North Korea and the United States” (2004), the co-author of the book “The quiet passion, Ban Ki-moon the United Nation’s Secretary General (2006)” “Read Washington D.C. to learn the world(2012)”, “Xi-Jinping and Obama(2013)”
