Mo Jongryn

Dr. Mo is a Senior Research Fellow in the Global Governance Program in the Center for Global Governance at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies and Vice President for International Affairs at Yonsei University. He also maintains non-residence affiliations with the Hoover Institution and Stanford University. Prior to joining Yonsei, Dr. Mo was an assistant professor at the University of Texas at Austin. He wrote, with Barry Weingast, Korean Political and Economic Development: Crisis, Security and Institutional Rebalancing (2013), with John Ikenberry, The Rise of Korean Leadership: Emerging Powers and Liberal International Order (2013), and edited Middle Powers and G20 Governance (2013). He received his B.A. in economics from Cornell University, M.S. in social science from the California Institute of Technology, and Ph.D. in political economics from Stanford University.
