Jonathan T. Chow

Assistant Professor of International Relations, University of Macau

Dr. Chow is Assistant Professor of International Relations at the University of Macau. His research focuses on regional politics in East and Southeast Asia, the politics of transnational norms, and the relationship between religion and international relations theory. Previously, he was Visiting Assistant Professor of International Relations at Reed College (2012-13), a Research Fellow at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies (2011-12), a Five College Fellow and Loewenstein Fellow at Amherst College (2009-11), a Visiting Fellow at the Ateneo Center for Asian Studies at Ateneo de Manila University (2008), and Project Director at the Berkeley APEC Study Center at the University of California, Berkeley (2006-07). Dr. Chow holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley and B.A. degrees in political science and Chinese from Williams College.
