Chen Zhimin
Dr. Chen is the Dean of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University in Shanghai. He is a professor of international relations and a Jean Monnet Chair professor of European foreign policy. Previously, he has been a visiting fellow at Harvard University and a visiting scholar at Queen’s University, University of Durham, Lund University, Sciences Po. and Keio University. He also serves on various advisory boards and editorial committees for several international journals, such as The Hague Journal of Diplomacy and the Asia Europe Journal. His research interests include international relations theory, diplomacy studies, Chinese foreign policy and EU studies. He has authored or co-authored several major publications in Chinese, including the most recent titled China, the United States and Europe: Cooperation and Competition in a New Trilateral Relation (2011). Professor Chen received all his degrees from Fudan University.
