Concurrent Session 2-1 -"Protectionism or Free Trade?"

Mr. Anthony Kim is a Research Fellow in Economic Freedom, Editor of the Index of Economic Freedom, and Manager of Global Engagement for the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom. Previously, Mr. Kim served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Dr. Edwin Feulner, founder of The Heritage Foundation. He researches international economic issues and also manages the production of The Heritage Foundation’s annual Index of Economic Freedom. Mr. Kim won the Heritage’s prestigious Drs. W. Glenn and Rita Ricardo Campbell Award, which goes to the employee who makes “an outstanding contribution to the analysis and promotion of a free society.” Before joining Heritage in 2001, Mr. Kim studied economics at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He holds a master’s degree in international trade and investment policy from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.
