Tatsumi Yuki
Ms. Tatsumi is senior associate of Stimson’s East Asia Program. Before joining Stimson, Ms. Tatsumi worked as a research associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (2001-2004) and as the special assistant for political affairs at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C. (1996-1999). She is a co-author of Global Security Watch: Japan; the author of Japan`s National Security Policy Infrastructure: Can Tokyo Meet Washington`s Expectations?; and has edited several other books on the U.S.-Japan alliance and Northeast Asian security. In addition, Ms. Tatsumi testified before the House Committee on International Relations in September 2006. She holds a B.A. in liberal arts from the International Christian University in Tokyo and an M.A. in international economics and Asian studies from the School of Advanced International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C.
