Joanna Parkin

Ms. Parkin is a Researcher at the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels. Prior to joining the Centre for European Policy Studies she worked at the European Commission. Ms Parkin’s areas of specialization include EU migration policy (particularly irregular immigration), and EU border policy (including Schengen). In addition to several publications on these topics she has co-authored studies for the European Parliament and the EU`s Committee of the Regions. She holds a B.A. in European Social and Political Studies from University College London and a M.A. in Migration Studies from the University of Kent.
