Jonathan Pollack

Dr. Pollack is Senior Fellow in the John L. Thornton China Center of the Brookings Institution, Washington, D.C. He was previously Professor of Asian and Pacific Studies and Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Studies Group at the Naval War College in Richmond between 2000 and 2010, and Senior Advisor for International Policy at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica between 1978 and 2000, where he also held various senior research and management positions. Dr. Pollack received a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers College and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
