Hweiluan Poong

Associate Research Fellow, Institute of International Relations, National Chengchi University

Dr. Poong is an Associate Research Fellow of the Institute of International Relations at National Chengchi University (NCCU). Her research fields include international political economy and comparative political economy in East Asia. She is also adjunct Associate Professor of the international doctoral program in Asia-Pacific Studies at the College of Social Sciences at NCCU. She has served as the coordinator of the Taipei-Seoul Forum since 1992. She has published various journal articles on political economy and global governance of technical standardization, telecommunication policy, and cyberspace governance. She received her M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and her Ph.D. in political science from NCCU.
