Ho Szuyin

Professor, National Chengchi University

Dr. Ho is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at National Chengchi University. He previously served as Deputy Secretary General of the National Security Council for the Republic of China from 2008 to 2010; as a Deputy Convener at the National Policy Foundation from 2005 to 2008; as a Director of the Department of Overseas Affairs at the Kuomintang’s Central Committee from 2003 to 2008. In addition, Dr. Ho held several academic postings such as Director of the Institute of International Relations at National Chengchi University from 1999 to 2003. He has been a research fellow at many prominent think-tanks, as well as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University. Dr. Ho received his Ph.D. in Political Science and his M.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his B.A. in Foreign Languages and Literatures from National Taiwan University in 1978.
