Hwang Yongsoo

Dr. Hwang is currently working as visiting fellow at CSIS in Washington DC. He is also principal researcher at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute. He got his master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley in the field of nuclear chemical engineering. He has worked as a lab director and a project manager for High Level Waste Disposal & Wolsong Repository Safety Assessment, Nuclear Fuel Cycle Strategy Development, Policy Development for Long Term Spent Fuel Management, East Asia Nuclear Non-proliferation, U.S-ROK Nuclear Cooperation, and others.
