Mark Jansson

Mr. Jansson is deputy director of the Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC. In that capacity, he is responsible for running PONI’s annual conference series, serving as the editor of its journal, developing programs and organizing events targeted for the next generation of leaders in nuclear science and policy, leading outreach efforts to young technical and policy specialists, and overseeing the project’s administrative operations. He recently earned a master’s in conflict resolution from Georgetown He holds a bachelor’s in criminal justice from Roanoke College.
