Duyeon Kim

Deputy Director, Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation

Ms. Kim is the deputy director of the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation in Washington DC where her policy work focuses on North Korea, nuclear nonproliferation, and nuclear security. Kim is a former career journalist from Seoul having served as the Foreign Affairs Ministry Correspondent and Unification Ministry Correspondent for a leading South Korean broadcasting station. Her news stories had covered North Korea`s nuclear programs, the Six-Party Talks, inter-Korean relations, U.S. foreign policy, South Korean foreign policy, Northeast Asian affairs, and the United Nations. Kim holds a master’s of science in foreign service (MSFS) from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a B.A. in literature from Syracuse University.
