Kim Tae-woo

President, Korea Institute for National Unification
Crisis on the Korean Peninsula

Dr. Kim is the President of the Korea Institute for National Unification. Prior to this position, he worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses. He has worked as a defense specialist with an interest in nuclear issues. Previously, he was a policy advisor for the Korean Veterans’ Association, research fellow at Sejong Institute, advisor to the Light Water Reactor Project for the Ministry of National Unification, and a policy research fellow for the National Assembly. He received his Ph.D. in political science from the State University of New York-Buffalo.
