John Bruce Wells
Mr. John Bruce Wells oversees a USAID regional program implemented by ICF International that helps developing countries achieve long-term, transformative development and accelerate sustainable, climate-resilient economic growth while slowing the growth of greenhouse gas emissions. Before joining ICF, he supported green growth programs in South Asia and Eastern Europe for Tetra Tech; was a Partner with Environmental Resources Management in Jakarta; and led the corporate consulting practices of Citizens International and Chemonics International where he helped clients such as Asia Pulp & Paper and BP apply corporate social responsibility principles to developing country operations. He was the Founder and President of The Bruce Company, a two-time Inc. 500 firm that advised the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Energy, World Bank, and United Nations Development Programme on global environmental issues. He holds a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.A. from the University of Dundee.
