Randall Schriver

Randall Schriver

Mr. Schriver is a partner at Armitage International and is President of the Project 2049 Institute. He teaches U.S. Foreign Policy at Stanford University`s Stanford-in-Washington program. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the Center for a New American Security, and the Board of Directors of the U.S.-Taiwan Business Council. He previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, from 2003 to 2005, and Chief of Staff to Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, from 2001 to 2003. He also served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) as Senior Country Director for the PRC, Taiwan, and Mongolia in OSD from 1997 to 1998, and Assistant Country Director from 1995 to 1997. Schriver served as a Navy Intelligence Officer, from 1989 to 1991, including during Operation Desert Storm. He holds a B.A. from Williams College and an M.P.P. from Harvard University.
