Elaine Bunn

Ms. Bunn is a distinguished research fellow at the Center for Strategic Research at the National Defense University. She has worked for 20 years in international security policy. From 1993 to 1998 she served as the principal director for Nuclear Forces and Missile Defense Policy, and in 1994, she was the executive director of the Nuclear Posture Review. She has written widely on strategic planning, nuclear policy, missile defense, preemption, and deterrence.
