Dr. Henry is Chair of the Political Science Department at the American University in Cairo and Emeritus Professor of the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Clement previously taught at the University of California, both at Berkeley, from 1963 to 1969, and Los Angeles from 1984 to 1986. He has also taught at the University of Michigan and the Institut d`Etudes Politiques de Paris. In the early 1980s, he directed the Business School at the American University of Beirut. He received his MBA from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. from Harvard University. Dr. Clement has written, co-authored, or edited 11 books, including, most recently, “Globalization and the politics of development in the Middle East.”
